Privacy notice

Qadam Planner, created by Ihya us-Sunnah. Last updated October 2026.

In short: your planner belongs to you. We do not show ads, we do not track you, and we never sell or share your data.

What Qadam stores

The things you type into Qadam: tasks, steps, routines, habits, reflections, prayer check ins and settings such as your city.

Without an account

Your planner stays in memory while Qadam is open. It is not saved to your device. Log in to save it to your account, or use the backup button to download a copy.

With an account

If you sign in with Google or with email, we store your name, your email address and your planner so it is safe and the same on every device. This is kept in Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), which Google runs on our behalf. Security rules make sure only you can read or change your own planner.

Feedback

If you send feedback, Ihya us-Sunnah receives your message, feedback type, app version and optional contact email in a private Google Sheet. Feedback is saved securely on submission and copied to the sheet hourly. Your tasks, reflections and prayer records are not attached. You can contact us to request deletion of your feedback.

Other services

Qadam loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser asks Google's servers for them. Prayer times are worked out on your own device; your location is never sent anywhere.

Deleting your data

In Qadam, go to Me, then Account, then Delete my account and data. This permanently removes your account and your saved planner. Without an account, use Me, then Reminders and your data, then Start fresh.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time. Ihya us-Sunnah is responsible for this data under UK data protection law.
